In August 2005 he was due to move to a then high flying Championship side Burnley FC after a very successful pre season trial They attempted to sign the player however a work permit was rejected, August 2006 he joined Helsingborgs IF from the Jamaican club Harbour View for approximately £100,000. During the 2006 season, he scored 9 goals in 19 games (1 goal more than Henrik Larsson who played 15 times) in the Swedish Allsvenskan despite playing only irregularly due to repeated injuries. Whilst at the club he has scored a total of 17 goals in 28 competitive matches, including 5 goals in 4 Swedish Cup matches on the way to Helsingborg's victory in the competition. His 120th minute equaliser versus to-be league champions IF Elfsborg in the quarterfinal (which Helsingborg won 9-7 after the penalty shootout) and the 1-0 goal in the final versus Gefle IF are memorable events for Helsingborg fans.
