Lutheran High School West
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lutheran High School West, located in Rocky River, Ohio, is a high school affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). Its goal is to provide an "educationally rich experience in a Christ-centered environment".
History of the school includes separating from the old Lutheran High School in downtown Cleveland (due to the construction of Interstate 90) and separating into Lutheran High School West and Lutheran High School East.
Recent expansions (completed in 2004) have more than doubled the physical size of the school.
Formally a member of the Metropolitan Area Conference (MAC-8), Lutheran High School West is now a member of the Patriot Athletic Conference (PAC-10).

[edit] Alma Mater and Fight Song
Alma Mater
O Savior, bless our Lutheran High
Look down on her with watchful eye.
O make her strong, increase her fame
That all may glorify Thy name.
And may her sons and daughters ever be
Loyal to her and faithful unto Thee.
O hear us as to Thee we cry
Savior, bless our Lutheran High!
Fight Song
Stand up and give a cheer for Lutheran
Louder, louder yet, so no one will forget.
That once the Longhorns take the lead,
There is simply nothing that can stop
The Red and White Stampede.
And with a charge that sounds like thunder,
They will let the whole world see,
The kind of Go, the kind of Fight, that's sure to Lead
The Red and White to Victory!
