From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cover of issue 2 of Bryan Talbot's The Adventures of Luther Arkwright, "The Treaty of St. Petersburg". The cover depicts the Arkwright, the protagonist, in a flying jacket. Also shown is the Imperial Prussian command ship "Siegfried" (a gargantuan helicopter), the Church of the Savior on Blood, and a number of machine-gun armed Tzarist red guards.

Fair use for this comic cover is asserted for the The Adventures of Luther Arkwright article only, with the following reasoning:

  • a small proportion of the work is presented
  • no free replacement is possible
  • no loss of income to the copyright owner is likely
  • the cover of a book or comic is intended, in part, to form part of the promotional material for the copyrighted work
