[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Fiat logo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Fiat logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:31, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Benetton nationality
Hi Lustigson. Regarding the comment you just left on my talk page - did you mean to leave that on VincentG's talk page? (He's the one who's suggesting that the Benetton template should only have the Italian flag; I was the one who changed it back to have both the Italian and UK flags) Or are you just keeping the discussion all in one place? Regards. DH85868993 12:45, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, I only saw VincentG's comment on your talk page, so I figured I'd reply there. Lustigson 12:49, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- That's cool. Just wanted to check there was no misunderstanding. DH85868993 12:54, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
I've transferred the discussion to the Benetton template talk page to make it more widely visible. DH85868993 08:26, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 1925-1927 World Championship for Constructors
Yes, that was the plan eventually. I'll try and make those years a priority, being as they were part of an organised championship. Readro 14:09, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use images in the userspace
I have removed several images from your userspace User:Lustigson. Please be aware that images that are clamied as fair use have a restriction in location:
-
- From the policy page Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria
- 9. Restrictions on location. Non-free content is allowed only in articles (not disambiguation pages), and only in article namespace, subject to exemptions. (To prevent an image category from displaying thumbnails, add __NOGALLERY__ to it; images are linked, not inlined, from talk pages when they are a topic of discussion.)
Placing image in the userspace such as User:Lustigson is a violation and has been removed. Please do not restore this image without consoltation. Thank you. — Save_Us † 13:39, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
