Interpol's "Say Hello to the Angels" uses a similar riff in parts, and I believe there have been other songs, though none of these are as close as "Are you gonna be my girl?"--DCo1 02:52, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

It just occurred to me that the drum intro on "Car Jamming" by The Clash is also very similar to the opening of "Lust For Life." 24.6.66.193 10:59, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
