Royal Mojave lupine (Lupinus odoratus), is a spring wildflower found in the central and western Mojave Desert in the southwestern United States. The plant grows to 12 inches, with flowers that are blue-purple in color, with a yellow or white spot on the banner petal. It is found in gravelly or sandy soils, and has light-green leaves.
