[edit] LSH articles
SOM, do you *have* to mutilate my legionnaire articles when you create ones for the post zero hour versions? You've done it with Ferro Lad, Shrinking Violet, Shadow Lass and a couple of others. And now you have done it to my Phantom Girl article, the one I was most proud of! These articles were all designed to cover all versions of the characters and I was very pleased with them, then you come along and remove all the references to the post zero hour versions and leave my articles as rather poor stubs!
Collaboration is one thing, but you remove *all* of my words and replace them with your own. At least show me the courtesy of using some of my words in your new articles. It bothers me a lot every time you do this. You won't rest until you have mutilated *all* of my lsh articles, clearly.
I'm just upset because I was particularly proud of my PG article and now you have removed all the Apparition stuff from it, it's now a shadow of its former self. I'm not happy about it at all

- I used the Apparition stuff from the other article as a starting point, but since I expanded it out to more than twice the length (which necessarily included replacing sections of the original text), it's not surprising that it's not instantly obvious. That's the point of Wikipedia though - someone starts something, others expand it. Compare your mention of Umbra in the SL article (quote) "In the post-Zero Hour universe, she goes by the codename Umbra and has a much more aggressive and businesslike attitude. This version of the character has not become romantically involved with the post-ZH counterpart of Mon-El." (unquote) to the Umbra (comics) article - no wonder I didn't use any of "your words" there! [And I didn't even start the Ferro (comics) page] I've not been gratuitously moving - where I've split it, I've made sure that the split-off article can stand on it's own. (The only immediately obvious one left to do, BTW, is Dream Girl/Dreamer, as far as I can see, where the characters and how they developed are rather different).
- If you don't want "rather poor stubs," write more about the pre-ZH versions, which (after all) were around for around three-and-a-half times as long as the postboot versions. Hell, look at Brainiac 5 (where I haven't moved the post-ZH bit to it's own article because there's no obvious title for it, unless you count the short-lived and unpopular .1 suffix). The pre- and postboot sections are about the same length.
- And, for the record, look at the warning, in bold type, at the bottom of every edit page: If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, do not submit it. Maybe I "edited mercilessly," but that's par for the course. - SoM 20:10, 17 May 2005 (UTC)
