The following is ostensibly an e-mail from Lung Leg to Mike Etoll, and was added to the article by an anonymous user:

MIKE ETOLL-

PLEASE INFORM WIKIPEDIA THAT NICK ZEDD'S COMMENTS CONCERNING NINNY CHARACTER ARE FICTICIOUS LIES INVENTED BY NICK ZEDD AND ASK TO PLEASE REMOVE THEM.

--IF ANY QUESTIONS? TELL THEM TO CONTACT ME AT: (email address removed)

THE ATTACHED PHOTOS ARE SELF PORTRAITS - 2005 AND MIKE ETOLL HAS MY PERMISSION TO POST THEM PUBLICALLY. ALONG WITH THE OTHERS SENT TO YOU.

-LUNG LEG

I don't think it belongs in the article, firstly because there's no way to verify either the sender or its recipient, secondly because it's about the article (and is thus better suited for this Talk page). -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:39, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

Furthermore: If Nick Zedd's claims are demonstrably false, then the paragraph referring to the autobiography should be amended appropriately, or removed (though IMHO, it's better to keep Zedd's comments and explain that they are falsehoods). I think it's also worth noting that rather than going through an anonymous intermediary, the subject is free to contact Wikipedia staff directly concerning the issue, assuming she is unable or unwilling to make Wikipedia edits herself. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 19:51, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

Jesus Christ, this is supposed to be an encyclopedia...that's what attracted all of us contributors here in the first place. Not some gathering place for freaks of all sorts posting deformed images of themselves "publically". 195.134.69.213 05:12, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

You are all idiots! Why is it a common wiki practice to delete contributions that are provided by the subject of the page? As if Gyrofrog knows more about Lung Leg than she knows about herself. ALL of your little tit-for-tat arguments are full of holes. Let it be. If Lung Leg wants to contribute a picture of herself to her page, let her do it. If she can't post it herself, let her friends post it for her. I think this website is less like an encyclopedia, and more like a geek-filled game of D&D. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.36.158.183 (talkcontribs) 00:15, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure what the problem is, Lung Leg's pictures are still in the article, and the (purported) email from her is mentioned. You'll need to be more specific about what's wrong. Meanwhile, please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies regarding personal attacks (this applies to User:195.134.69.213, too), attribution, and biographies, as well as its guidelines for autobiographies. Thanks, -- Gyrofrog (talk) 16:24, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps a bigger problem is that the pictures have a copyright notice in the lower right corner, although they are released under the GFDL. Could she submit versions without the copyright notice, or should we crop them out? -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 13:31, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

The copyright notices are a bit annoying, but that's all. She _is_ still the copyright owner, regardless of license, and placing her name on the pictures is not a violation of the GFDL or some such. -- Andersju (talk) 12:28, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ninny

Someone had added more text regarding the "Ninny" character [1], which I've now removed. It isn't clear whether this is based on Zedd's description of Ninny, and in any case I'm not sure whether we need this level of detail (also see previous comments on this page about Nick Zedd's claims). This portion of text now appears as it did before March 14, though we really should have a page number for the Zedd cite. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 16:41, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
