[edit] Request

I request that someone please write a detail account of the story for Lunar:_Silver_Star_Story and Final_Fantasy_VII. Lunar SSS and FF7 are classic RPGs, but their story section is highly summarized. For an example of a detail account of the story, section, please look at FF6.

In the story section of Final_Fantasy_VI, a lot of details are given, such as Kefka poisoning the water supply in the siege of Doma Castle, Terra unable to accept herself being a half-esper, the balance of the world is destroyed, etc. However in the summarized FF7 story section, nothing is mentioned about the death of Aeris in the hands of Sephiroth, Meteor threat, Tifa helping Cloud overcoming his psychological problem, etc.

Request: If anyone have free time and can write a good article, please spend some time writing a more detailed story for Lunar SSS and FF7.

This doesn't sound Neutral PoV to me:

"This game has substantial differences from the Sega CD original version. The scenario was changed substantially from the original version, in many ways thought to be for the worse. The music was re-written and changed from redbook CD audio to compressed PCM audio. The result was a far less impressive score with lower sound quality. The size of game itself (overworlds and dungeons) shrunk substantially from the original game and a number of areas were completely removed. As a result diehard fans of the series prefer the original version of the game to any of its many remakes."

Similar criticism is also found on the Saturn version of the game's page. Haoie 09:02, 22 September 2005 (UTC)

Quote "Both the music and the graphics seem dated according to most players; far below the bar set by contemporary PlayStation CRPGs such as Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII." This looks POV to me. Personally, I think the graphics and music are more dated in FF7. There's masterful composing of course by Uemetsu in that game, and I love the music, but the instruments sound like old dated midi (and it doesn't use CDDA either). Also, in FF7, the characters don't have fingers or mouths, and they use invisible cell phones. I'm not just saying it to say I think Lunar looks better; just that unless there's a source, it would be just as wrong for me to change it to "The music and graphics are ahead of their time according to most players, with much more detail and robust musical instrumentation far greater than that of FF7 and FF8". This page doesn't see much activity, so I'll most likely just change it myself later on. --ScarletSpiderDave 02:32, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

I agree..I love te graphics and heraing that sound soffensive to me..Very POV.

[edit] Move Characters to New Page?

I think the characters section should be moved to a new page. Also, it shouldn't be in with spoilers, because it's quite the opposite. --ScarletSpiderDave 06:24, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Added Spoiler

Added a spoiler under the "Four Heroes" section because it lists Ghaleon as the Magic Emperor, while this is important, it is a plot twist, hence the spoiler warning Canada2k8 06:59, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Japan exclusive video games?

Why does this game fall under this category? It's not exclusive to Japan, proven by the USA release. -- Jelly Soup 12:33, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spoiler warning tags

I find the semi-automatic removal of spoiler warning tags across the entire video games section of Wikipedia a bit unnerving. A number of well-placed spoiler warnings have been removed simply because they are under a heading that can have spoilers. I think it is particularly grievous that the tags have been removed from this game's page because they were making clear distinctions between those parts that contain spoilers and those that are spoiler-free -- within the sections that can be "expected" to have spoilers. So I propose that all spoiler tags be reinstated (except for the one at the start of the Storyline section), as they were in [this revision] of the page. AspiringSquire 03:08, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
