Lunularia cruciata (L.) Dumortier, 1822 |
Lunularia cruciata or Crescent-cup liverwort is a liverwort of order Marchantiales. It occurs commonly in western Europe. It is also common on the western coast of North America, where it may be found in both the wild and as a greenhouse weed. In America, the species grows only as a sterile form, easily recognized by the crescent-shaped cups containing asexual gemmae.
