Lung Kwu Chau

Lung Kwu Chau (Chinese: 龍鼓洲) is an island at the northwest water of Hong Kong. It is off the shore of Lung Kwun Tan near Tuen Mun in the mainland New Territories, separated by waterway of Urmston Road. The island is together with Sha Chau (沙洲) and Pak Chau (白洲) at its south fallen into the Lung Kwu Chau and Sha Chau Marine Park to protect the wildlife in Hong Kong from November 1996. It is known as dolphin sanctuary where is the habitat for the Chinese white dolphin.
