Lund is a municipality in the county of Rogaland, Norway. The municipality center is Moi.

Lund was established as a municipality January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). Heskestad was merged with Lund January 1, 1965.

The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the farm Lund (Norse Lundr), since the first church was built there. The name is identical with the word lundr m 'grove'.

Until 1889 the name was written "Lunde".
