[edit] Story

The Forbidden War Begins...

In an age when a power called "magic" supports everyday life and civilization itself, peace is supported by the queen's knights and the Rave magic council.

The Kingdom of Kalnava has a clandestine program that is researching an easier way to use magic. The story starts at the point when the Kingdom had just successfully completed their research into such a tool. Breaking a longstanding oath not to use magic in conflicts, the society of witches start a new war.

[edit] Characters

  • Roland (Protagonist) - Apprentice Knight
Along with his brother who is of similar age, he aims to become a knight. He spends his days training under his father, who was originally the captain of the knights. After suddenly having the "tool" merged in his hands, he is cast into the midst of the war as a Rune Knight. His weapon is the single-handed sword.
  • Alty - Apprentice Fire Witch
An apprentice studying to become a full witch under the witch of the light. Under the Dia, the witch of light's orders, she goes to get a personally signed letter from Queen Sofia, but runs into the protagonist on the way. Her weapon is the phaser staff.
  • Fatima - Shaded Ice Witch
Leader of the Witches of the Dark. After having disbanded from the Witch Organization that registers leaders of each witch-type, this ringleader continues in the war. Her weapon is the ice whip.
  • Georgie - Familiar
Similar to Fatima, this mysterious feline creature uses black magic. Using a human engineered body of a Golem, he is creating disturbances in the Kingdom of Kalnava. His weapon is a small bone wand.
  • Lash - Roland's older brother, wields a lance. Usually doesn't respect his father, so he gets beaten by him often.
  • Lina - Apprentice Archer, is a great friend of Roland and becomes a good friend of Alty.
  • Dia - Light Witch, also a Teacher at the Magic School of Rev.
  • Lunaluna - The Water Witch, she often gets dizzy by nervousness.
  • Popuri - The Nature Witch, is also pretty spoiled.
  • Saty - The Wind Witch, she seems to be quite serious, but she actually is a very warm-hearted person.
  • Phil - Popuri's younger brother, he has the opposite personality to her and treats everyone with great respect.
  • Cappa - A wanderer who is fascinated by Witches (resembles Nikolai from the first game). Always takes with him a camera and a guitar, which is actually a weapon.
  • Sofia - Queen of Kalnava. She is very dedicated to her kingdom, so due to the recent facts, she rarely has some time to rest, or even smile.
  • Gaston - Captain of the Queen's Knights. Is well known because of his huge figure.
  • Stan - Another Captain of the Queen's Knights, is the father of Lash and Roland.
  • Schneider - A researcher, who considers himself Roland's rival. Also known as the "Glasses Guy". He also is Lina's older brother.
  • Alice & Therese - The young witches make a return in this sequel but they are now playable unlike in the first game. Alice wields a giant rolling pin while Therese uses a giant butcher's knife.
  • Karen - Leader of an organization known as "Rosette Lasso". Uses a gun.
  • Ace - Karen's henchman, always has his briefcase with him.
  • Donkey - Another of Karen's henchmen, is an expert at constructing robots.
