[edit] Box lacrosse
I apologize for my error at Talk:Box lacrosse about the number of periods in the game. I been sick. I did have the correct number of periods in the game in the article at one point. Anyway, I have proposed some changes to the article on the talk page. John FitzGerald 14:07, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
James Teterenko posted a helpful comment on the Talk page which I thought justified me in making the changes I'd suggested, and a few more. Could you check it out, correct any mistakes, and remove the "Disputed" tag? Thanks. John FitzGerald 17:36, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, Luke. I'm glad the article is healthy again. John FitzGerald 12:17, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- Your additions greatly improve the article. One thing I especially liked is that the reader gets a much better idea of the place of box lacrosse in the lacrosse world now. Thanks.
- I have never been able to find (online, anyway) an adequate, fully labelled diagram of the floor which could be used to produce one for the article. Have you been able to find any I could use? John FitzGerald 13:06, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Thaks for the link. I'll get back to you about it next week. John FitzGerald 20:20, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Hi mate, I suggest you take a look at the latest footy project, WikiProject AFL. Feel free to join and to drop us a line with any questions. Cheers, Rogerthat 05:18, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lacrosse
Hi Luke,
Thanks for the comments. I think the lacrosse web page should be edited to have general lacrosse info 1st and then country specific info next. Although the US is the predominant lacrosse country the original editor seems to be dismisssive of Australian lacrosse (and British for that mattter of fact).

[edit] Copying Articles
Hi Luke - I've just noticed that a lot of info from the pages you are creating are a cut and paste from other websites. You may wish to rewrite this info in your own words. It's a generally accepted practice on Wikipedia that other internet articles aren't copied directly. I fell foul of this on another article I was working on. Ozdaren 07:35, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry Lacrosse in Australia. Ozdaren 14:33, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
No worries, will get onto this some time soon! Lukeoz 14:57, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Lacrosse
I have created a proposal for a new WikiProject about lacrosse, and I thought you might be interested in joining. Please check out the temporary project page at User:MrBoo/WikiProject Lacrosse and sign your name if you are interested.

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Shc sa au.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Shc sa au.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Image source problem with Image:All logo.gif
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:All logo.gif. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:58, 7 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Smc au.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Smc au.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 19:02, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
