[edit] License tagging for Image:Kevinrudd pm portrait.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Kevinrudd pm portrait.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:16, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Images
Please don't add images without first being familiar with image policies. Timeshift (talk) 21:58, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, Luke. Just to expand on what Timeshift said, I think he's referring to images of Hawke and Keating that were added to the List of Prime Ministers of Australia. It's been decided (I'm not sure who actually decided it, but I'm not arguing) that only public domain images are suitable for inclusion in the list, since there are specific rationale required for the use of fair use images, and the list of Prime Ministers doesn't really qualify.
- If you have any further questions about Wikipedia's image policies, don't address them to me, because I don't really know what I'm talking about. Address them to Timeshift; he seems to know what's going on. Thanks. Ackatsis (talk) 09:12, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
No problem, thanks for the heads up LukeNE (talk) 17:42, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
