Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor is a standalone novel that chronicles the Battle of Mindor, a fictional event in the Star Wars Expanded Universe. The novel is to be written by Matthew Stover, and is expected to be released in October 2008. [1]
The novel is set shortly after Return of the Jedi and the novel The Truce at Bakura, with Luke Skywalker and the Rebel Alliance attempting to stop Lord Shadowspawn and his "shadow stormtroopers", culminating in the "Battle of Mindor". [1] Matthew Stover has said on his personal weblog, [2]
