Luke Doerner (born August 23, 1979 in Melbourne, Victoria) is a field hockey defender from Australia, who made his international senior debut for the national team in 2005 at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He played club hockey in The Netherlands from 2004-2005, at HC Bloemendaal, alongside his team mate and best friend Jamie Dwyer and Holland's star midfielder Teun de Nooijer.
Doerner was a member of The Kookaburras-team that won the gold medal at the 2005 Champions Trophy, and three months later at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Doerner was top goal scorer for the Kookaburras in 2006.
