Luke Rex Butterworth (born October 28, 1983) in Hobart, Tasmania is an Australian cricket player, who plays for the Tasmanian Tigers. He plays his club cricket for Glenorchy Cricket Club.

Luke Butterworth has become a regular in Tasmania's one-day side, but had to wait until 2006/07 to make his first class debut. Although he wasn't a regular in the side during the Tasmanian Tigers first Pura Cup winning season in 2006/07, he did play an outstanding role in the final, scoring 66 and 106, his maiden first class century. He performed just as well with the ball taking 4/33 in the first innings, and the combined efforts with bat and ball earned him the distinction of being man of the match in Tasmania's first ever Pura Cup winning final.

Added to this reward was a call up to the Australian A team that toured Pakistan in 2007.
