Lucas Aaron "Luke" Benward (born May 12, 1995) is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his starring role as Billy in How to Eat Fried Worms and as Charlie Tuttle in the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie Minutemen. At age 7, he appeared in Martina McBride's music video Concrete Angel.

Luke Benward was born to Aaron Benward and Kenda Benward in Franklin, Tennessee. His father is in the country duo Blue County, his mother is a part-time actress, model, and acting coach, and his grandfather is Contemporary Christian artist Jeoffrey Benward. He has two younger sisters as well, Gracie and Emma. He is a fourth generation singer. He sings, his dad sings, his grandpa sings and his great-grandpa sung. He is a fan of both the Beatles and Switchfoot and is a fan of football. He spends his free time playing football, video games, break dancing and practicing on his new electric guitar. Benward currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee.

Benward first appeared in a movie called We Were Soldiers, as David Moore in 2002. His success grew in 2006, when he played the main role as Billy in the film How to Eat Fried Worms. How to Eat Fried Worms is a film which is based about a kid who made a bet with a school bully that he could eat 10 worms in 10 different ways. In the end, he won the bet, and gloated over his pride over the school bully.
