From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yep, it's me - the Internet wanderer Luigifan. Actually, I think Wikipedia was the first website that I actually registered my own account on - for other websites where you could find me, see my other websites. (Well, they're not "mine" per se, but I have accounts on them.) I tend to be characterized by absences of several days followed by a spurt of activity. When I'm not here, I'm usually doing homework, posting on GameFAQs or FanFiction.Net, watching videos on YouTube or Newgrounds, or playing some sort of video game. Well, that's all I have to say. See ya! --Luigifan (talk) 15:25, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Diary

I've only made 1 page, but it got deleted... Why? Because I "didn't provide citations." Um, hello? I DID cite my work! I gave Ryan Bloom the credit, didn't I? How much more do I have to give, for crying out loud?!?

Correction- it's back, and it's right here! It's just a stub, without much citation, so please add to it so that I can improve it! (Oh, and sorry for the angry outburst up above. My mistake - I was a bit indignant, and let it get the better of me.)
Hey! It's gone... and so is the talk page! What the heck?
Ah, it's back again... however, I've been devoting most of my time to a theory I've raised at Talk:Black Doom#Energy sources, as well as just trying to make some of the articles more neutral.
Scratch that. The page is gone again, and protected against re-creation. Oh, well. I'll wait until more information is revealed. Currently, I'm in my "Ninja of Peace" alter ego, defending the Super Mario: Blue Twilight DX article from deletion. Oh, yeah, and I've been busy reverting vandalism all over Wikipedia.

Well, the AFD for Marioween has been resolved in favor for keeping the page. Now the squabble is over the list of stages. *sigh* Anyway, I've mostly been busy with fixing spelling and grammar, and occasionally making links. However, I have made major edits from time to time.

Okay, mostly I'm reverting vandals, and chiming in on talk pages. I recently lit up the Humanities reference desk with a discussion on the connection between milk, mammary glands, and sex appeal. Also, I'm still waiting for Blaze Hedgehog to respond to my question about Dracula and Tails.

Well, I've just gotten back to regular editing after the expiration of a block; no, really, I did get blocked! I think that I got blocked for losing my temper and blowing up over a revert war at Censorship (the outburst is still there on my talk page,) although I think that a bout of belligerent advertising on talk pages may also have played a role. What was I trying to advertise, you may ask? Well, none other than a couple of awesome fanfics! (By the way, I didn't write either of these.)
First up is Save Maria! by Weirdo 94. "Save Maria!" is about Shadow the Hedgehog's quest to rescue Maria from her death 50 years ago with the help of a time-traveling children's clock. However, he only succeeds in getting her killed in various horrible ways (such as collateral damage.) If you love humor, and you love the Sonic series, especially the resident angst-ridden antihero, you're going to love Save Maria!
The second fanfic I've fallen in love with is Matchmaker by Rikku McClow Fox. Let me just say that THIS FANFIC IS AWESOME!!!! I have a full-fledged summary for it, but it's heavy with BIG, FAT SPOILERS, so I decided to put it on a separate page. Seriously, though, if you love romance, action, suspense, and drama, and you don't mind the occasional scare (such as a fight scene where the matchmaker nearly gets raped,) or yet another story where Tails is in a romantic relationship with some random OC, you're going to love Matchmaker!!!!!! --Luigifan 01:00, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Articles I've created

  • Sonic: The Fated Hour (Note: The article is no longer salted, but I won't try to recreate it until Blaze actually releases the game, or a significant piece of information relevant to the game is revealed. And, no, I don't think that Christmas demo on YouTube would be sufficient...)
  • Duelist (Dungeons & Dragons)
  • Talk: Fiona Fox (I'm only responsible for starting the talk page, not the article itself.)
  • Talk:Mammoth Mogul (See above.)
  • Fanart Central (Note: I'd really like to see this article get up off the ground, but I don't know enough about the website to make it more than a pathetic stub - if not less than that. The website I'm trying to cover here is http://www.fanart-central.net/. Anybody who is an experienced member there is welcome to help me establish this article.)
  • Bottomless pit (video games)
  • Bottomless pit (game mechanism)
  • Five-Headed Dragon
  • User:Luigifan/An analysis of Matchmaker by Rikku McClow Fox (Note: Apparently, this sort of thing doesn't belong on Wikipedia. Seriously, I actually got blocked for it. If you really want to see it, too bad - I have no choice but to send it via e-mail.)
  • User:Luigifan/What good is Wikipedia? (I wrote this essay in order to debunk some common arguments people use to criticize Wikipedia. If you ask me, it's probably worth a look.)
  • Talk:Hydrokinesis (Again, I'm only responsible for starting the talk page, not the article itself.)

[edit] My friends

Disclaimer: These people are in no way sockpuppets or meatpuppets. They are independent, individual Wikipedians, who I happen to know quite well from prior encounters, and who I feel comfortable with asking them for help when I'm facing a problem on Wikipedia. Whether they help or not is really up to them, though most of the time, they do. With that out of the way, here's the list of my friends on Wikipedia:

[edit] Other websites

Wikipedia is not the only interactive website that I commonly visit. I'm also active at a variety of other sites. However, I virtually always go by some form of "Luigifan". Here's a list of other websites I participate in, as well as my accounts at said websites:

In addition to this, I'm considering starting an account at FanArt Central. Keep an eye out!  ;) (However, I'm not terribly interested in starting an account at DeviantArt... even though I'd welcome the chance to chat with the MC gang again, I'm not too keen on the notion of paying for an account that I might not use all the time.) --Luigifan (talk) 19:40, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Other Aliases

Disclaimer: These are, in a sense, sockpuppets, but keep in mind that I am in no way trying to make any illusions. I'm simply not always able to use my own personal computer, so I occasionally use others.
Disclaimer 2: Note that in the case of IP adresses, I'm not the only one who uses those computers, so don't assume that I'm the one who made the edit!

[edit] Blacklist

These are vandals I've caught in the act. I'm keeping their names here, so that I can tell them off if they try to pull crap like that again.

The blacklist is currently empty.
