I have a strong suspicion this whole Luisel Ramos incident is a hoax. There are only 3 pages citing it and none of them are official news site like CNN or Le Figaro -- THEY ARE ALL BLOGS! There are only 2 pictures of her -- surely if she had just been in a fashion show there would be pictures of the show at least?

I call shenanigans!--Sobekneferu 10:53, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

- I don't know about that, I think I first heard of it on the holy vcrap its a flying pig!!!!BBC, or something like that. Maybe the Daily Mail. But it was a long time ago, and I only saw it in passing.

[edit] This is no hoax but the sad truth

There are many images of Luisel Ramos while doing a catwalk and the press has released about 1000+ articles all over the world. Please inform yourself and use Google before acting like this Adminix 13:18, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] So now her sister, also an anorexic model, is dead as well...

You'd think their parents or someone involved in the modelling industry would have made sure the tragedy didn't repeat itself... or maybe it's just that brutal. --h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 20:52, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cause of death

I believe this model did not die of anorexia (although she was certainly malnourished) but there was an underlying condition to it. I am not 100% what it was called, but the media have been very quick to say the cause of death was anorexia, which it was not.
