Luis de los Santos was born on December 29, 1966 in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic. From 1986-1988 he was in the Triple-A Omahas, batting .375 at the beginning of the season. He was an opposite field hitter. In 1988, he was named the AA's All-Star first baseman as he topped the league with 164 Hits and 87 RBIs.
