Luis Alberto Fuentes Rodríguez (born August 14, 1971) is a Chilean defender, who currently plays for the Chilean club Cobreloa. Fuentes is also known as "flaco," which means "skinny" in Spanish. He began his professional career with another Chilean club Coquimbo Unido in 1993. He made 156 appearances and scored 12 goals with the club. In 1998, Fuentes made his debut with the Chilean national team in a match versus Iran. The following year he made his debut with his current club Cobreloa.
