Luis Fernando Pinzón Cancino (born 1975, Bogotá), Colombian artist, he strives in all his work to capture the sense of his subjects exposing his own sensibility through color and textures. His works includes abstract and figuratives paintings. His first canvas captated an almost absolut abstraction where the mature was the craft, the textures, the pencil stroke and -especially- the color, manifested through long monochromatic degradations where the abstraction had hidden already -in that first works- a figurative remind which afterwards was openly manifested. Distorted images of a dream which, at the awaking time, unfolds in stains, colors, textures and profuse sensations. The work of Luis Fernando Pinzón advise us about this double condition between the real and the perceived, between conscious and the onirical, through the sensibility which reclaim us the use of the color and which demand us to recall the images of the past, of the fantasy and of dream. Pinzón has exhibit his works in their natal Colombia, Europe, Canada and U.S.A. at individual and collective level and is becoming one of the more important Colombian artists.
