Luis Carone

Luis Carone is a music video and commercial director. He started working in computer graphics at the age of 14. Two years later he was freelancing for studios such as Vetor Zero, Lobo, and Ad Studio. His next destination was London, where he worked for The Mill, a post production company owned by filmmaker Ridley Scott. Moving back to Brazil in 2004, he directed his first music video, which started his career as a director.

Winning several awards during his career, Carone has been twice considered the best Music Video director in Brazil, winning this category in the MTV Video Music Brasil Awards, for his work on "VocĂȘ Sabe" by Autoramas (2005), and "Convicted in Life" by Sepultura (2006). His work is on the Resfest International Festival DVD collection released in the United States in 2006 with 6 thousand copies. In September 2006 Carone joined O2 Filmes (Fernando Meirelles Production Company), where he currently directs TV commercials.
