Luis Balaguer

Luis Balaguer started exploring the entertainment industry in 1988 booking music tours throughout USA, Latin America, and Spain. By 1991 he had achieved success as a Musical Promoter and Manager for stars such as the Gypsy Kings.

In 1998, Balaguer established his talent management, production and movie marketing company, Latin World Entertainment, known as Latin We (www.latinwe.com). Today, Latin We manages some of the biggest US Hispanic (Latin) stars in Television, Film and Radio, such as Sofia Vergara,Angélica Vale, Cristián De La Fuente,Marcela Mar, Raul de Molina,Danna Garcia, Myrka Dellanos, Barbara Bermudo, and Fernando Fiore, to name a few, benefiting from Latin We's reputable Endorsement and PR departments.

Latin We is the first and only company to break cross-over deals from the Hispanic market to the General market for its clients, such as Sofia Vergara's deal with ABC. Latin We is also responsible for negotiations such as selling RCN'S production Betty La Fea to Univision Newtwork after becoming the highest rated soap opera in the competing Network Telemundo. Additionally, Latin We's Movie Marketing Department has successfully promoted over 400 US films in the Hispanic US for major US Film studios.

Most recently, Latin We Production launched its new show "Viva Hollywood" on VH1 which they co-produced with World of Wonder. In July 2008 they will be launching Viva La Familia de Todo Bebe on Univision with Araceli Arambula and Karen Martinez.

In 2006, Hispanic Magazine recognized Luis Balaguer as “one of 2006's most influential Hispanics in the US” and most recently in February of 2008, People En Español Magazine named Balaguer as one of "the 15 most influential Hispanics in the United States".
