Luigi Contratto

Luigi Contratto (1892-1984) was a soldier during the First world war and received the honour of Knight of Vittorio Veneto from Vittorio Emanuele III in person. He participated at the defeat of Caporetto and after an upset resistance he was hurt to a shoulder and a leg and came made captive of the Austrians, but it came freed from allies in 1918. In the Second world war he did not participate actively because war invalid, but collaborated like partisan in Piemonte.
