[edit] ATTN: LUEsers
Ok, let's try to make this page work. We need to get some good background on LUE before editing anything on the main article page. If you want to be known on here, LUEsers, we have to make this page to a Wikipedia standard. In other words, content that falls within Wikipedia's rules. That is all and good luck LUEsers with this page. Douglasr007 22:39, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
- You guys should know that the Random Insanity article was deleted.. an article on LUE is almost guaranteed to be deleted by the Wikipedia community. If you have anything coherent to say about LUE, please say it in GameFAQs message boards. Rhobite 22:50, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
- But LUE is such a huge internet community. There's a huge history based on LUE. Imagine if that huge history was added on the GameFAQs board page, the page would have to be broke up into different pages. Douglasr007 23:30, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
- Well then, don't put it on Wikipedia. Use an external link, such as to that "History of LUE" page, LUEpedia, or even WikiFAQs. Other boards justifably have just as long as a history - ummm, okay not, not with four major events + a lot more ****. I think WikiFAQs is the best because it is an all-encompassing WIkipedia for all GameFAQs-related issues, but since LUE and MBH dislike each other, LUEsers would probably prefer the more relaxed view of LUEpedia. - How about LUElinks? Same thing? I don't even know if LL is mentioned in the GameFAQs messageboards article. Douglasr007 04:09, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
- I don't think LL can ever be on Wikipedia because it is a private board. Xerxus 03:42, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reasoning for GameFAQs-related item
This article's history seems to be dominated by the LUE of GameFAQs, so it only seems proper that it is mentioned on the disambig page. And it has it's own section in the GameFAQs article, so it meets any notability requirements, though I've never actually read anything about disambig-related notability requirements before. --- RockMFR 03:58, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
- Just because it's in the history doesn't mean that we should keep it...it's like WP:DENY and deleting all of the Willy on Wheel pages, even though he is arguably one of WP's most notorious villians. I peronally prefer to deny this board any recognition. Articles are definitely included in dab lists. According to URL anchor notation, you can link sections from dab pages...so you win for this page. Hbdragon88 04:39, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Wait, what? Rock, trolling? Where did I ever state or imply that? I thought it was pretty clear that I'M the one who is trolling here by removing LUE the message board, which is a legitimate entry in the GameFAQs articles. Second, I probably wasn't specific enough. Rock was saying that the numerous instnaces of vandalism on this page merited some notability, which it doesn't. If this was true that Wikipedia would have a section on constant warring on George W. Bush or Jesus or Bogdanov Affair. But to add that is WP:NOR and ultimately not very notable. Anyway, I backed off once I found my answer after rereading the MOSDAB page a few times, and I'm not sure why this two-month-old discussion is being brought back.
