Talk:Ludwig von Bertalanffy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi Arnejohs,
The naming convention for wikipedia names is to use the most common name, the full name can always appear at the top of the article:
Ludwig von Bertalanffy gets 4,630 Google hits: [1]
whereas Karl Ludwig von Bertalanffy only gets 165: [2]
Using the more common name is important because it facilitates serendiptious linking. --Lexor|Talk 04:28, 4 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Got it. I just read through the naming convention and realized 'Ludwig von Bertalanffy' is the correct top. Arnejohs
Insertion of Canada into statement - 10 years of work in Canada during which time he published the most widely known works vs 6 years in the United States justifies this insertion. Removal of unsubstantiated trailing NPOV statement from main text. There may be a case to discuss his views regarding how he was treated at some later section of the article, if substantiated. 131.137.245.200 21:14, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
