[edit] visit to the Ludlow Monument

I recently [September 2005] stopped by to see the restored Monument and I left feeling both good and bad - which is supposed to be impossible. I felt good because the figures had been restored, but bad because the scars on the statures are there to be seen and they are not pretty. Someone has put a scarf around the neck of the female figure, a cosmetic touch that I felt was a good idea, but the scene was none-the-less rather disturbing. Still, two heads are better than none, and that is what is at Ludlow now. I'll perhaps post another picture or two here if I ever get them developed. Carptrash 03:59, 3 October 2005 (UTC)
