[edit] India in World War Two
Hi Lucky333123,
I'm not sure why your asking me this particular question but I'll answer anyway!
India was indeed involved in World War Two - extensively. As a part of the British Empire it was involved on the Day Britain declared war on Germany (3 September 1939) in response to the german invasion in Poland. Many Indian forces, under the Common Wealth, fought against the german and Italians in North Africa and the mediterranean, and throught Europe to rid it of Nazi occupation. India was also involved heavily in the war in the Pacific against the Japanese who along with Germany and Italy were the domiant partners in the Axis alliance. India was partly occupied by Japanese forces in the East of the country, falling just short af Calcutta, occupying the lands East of the Irrawady River from the Chinses Border (whom the Japanese were also fighting!) to the Coast of the Indian Ocean.
An article India in World War II exists to give you more insight into its role in world war 2. Hope this helps.Dapi89 11:40, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunatley, while this is true, there is no recorded evidence of Indian Pilots taking part. This was purley an aerial battle. Indian units did see action in North Africa and the Med' and indeed throughout Europe - in the Army not the Allied Airforces. The Indian Airforce flew British made aircraft against the Japanese, but not in the European Theatre.Dapi89 13:36, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
