Hi, can you please fix your uploads according to the messages above before uploading any new content? You are the one supposed to do this part yourself, don't expect the other people to do it for you. For now, it only adds to the amount of work we have to deal with. Please do not upload any new content, or you '''will''' be blocked.

[edit] deletion CORP

Hi, first of all I wanted to state that I don't have access to deleted articles, so I won't be able to enter into specifics here. Your page was tagged by me for deletion, and this decision was endorsed by an admin as you can see in the deletion log. It was deleted on the grounds it was ''an article about a company that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject.''. We have [[WP:CORP|certain criteria]] companies need to meet to be included in Wikipedia. I invite you to read them. I you still believe Clear Mind Productions is notable enough to be included, I suggest you to ask the deleting admin, [[User:Phaedriel]], to review his decision. ~~~~

Hi, first of all I wanted to state that I don't have access to deleted articles, so I won't be able to enter into specifics here. Your page was tagged by me for deletion, and this decision was endorsed by an admin as you can see in the deletion log. If I remember well, the article you created failed to meet the WP:BIO policy. For example, an actor needs to Have appeared in well-known films, stage plays, television, and other productions to be included. If after reading this policy, and our conflict of interest policy (since your pseudonym on Wikipedia is the same than the title of the article), you still feel the article was deleted by mistake, I suggest you to contact the admin that deleted the page, User:Irishguy. Note that you can have a user page on Wikipedia to tell us about yourself. You can find this userpage at User:LordWolvern. I hope these information helped you. ~~~~

Hi, first of all I wanted to state that I don't have access to deleted articles, so I won't be able to enter into specifics here. Your page was tagged by me for deletion, and this decision was endorsed by an admin as you can see in the deletion log. It was deleted on the grounds it was ''an article about a company that does not '''assert''' the importance or significance of its subject''. We have [[WP:BAND|certain criteria]] bands need to meet to be included in Wikipedia. I invite you to read them. As you see, the most important part of the rule is '''assert'''. If for example you write an article about [[Bill Clinton]] saying only "He was born in 1946, and he's a funny guy that told jokes to [[Boris Eltsin]]", it will most likely be dteleted. I you still believe Los soneros del barrio is notable enough to be included, I suggest you to ask the deleting admin, [[User:Phaedriel]], to review his decision. ~~~~

Hi, first of all I wanted to apologize if our deletion procedures seem harsh. In fact, we require all articles to [[WP:Notability|assert]] why they are notable enough to be included to Wikipedia. Specific criteria apply to [[WP:BAND|music bands]]. If you want to work on an article before posting it, the best way is to use the '''Show Preview''' button, beside the '''Save Page''' button, to see how your page will look like. Per [[WP:CSD#A7|speedy criteria A7]], every article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject may be deleted on sight. If you need further help, please don't hesitate to post on my talk page or to put '''<nowiki>{{helpme}} and your question on your page. -- lucasbfr talk 16:08, 11 May 2007 (UTC)</nowiki>

First of all, '''Hello and Welcome to Wikipedia'''. I am sending you this message to clear up some misconceptions you seem to have about our [[encyclopedia]]: * First of all, we are not a [[WP:NOT#HOST|free webhost]] our goal is not to host files for our readers. * Secondly, our goal is not to write about everyone and everything. Specifically, there are some [[WP:NOTE|notability requirements]] individuals and [[WP:CORP|companies]] have to meet in order to be included. This is first of all due to our limited resources, but also because it is near impossible to validate content that is not covered in depth by [[WP:RS|reliable, secondary sources]]. * Finally, our goal is to remain neutral, and free of advertising. Therefore, we enforce a strong [[WP:NPOV|neutral point of view policy]], that is also taken into account for 2 other major guidelines, our [[WP:SPAM|anti advertisement guideline]] and our [[WP:COI|conflict of interest guideline]]. Namely, is it considered a bad idea to write about you or your company ;). I have therefore deleted the content you have uploaded on your servers. {{subst:User:Lucasbfr/help}}

[edit] copyvio

{{subst:User:Lucasbfr/copyvio|Test|http://www.google.com}}

As I wrote in my message, the problem is a licensing problem. We can't accept material that is not released under the GFDL to Wikipedia for legal and licensing reasons. You can either write an other article in your own words, or release the content of the website under the GFDL with one of the means I mentioned above. I hope I helped you a bit :)

Unfortunately, even if it is from an educational institution or almost any government, it is still under copyright with a license too restrictive for Wikipedia. However, the university or someone affiliated with it may have put the text on Wikipedia on purpose, or it may otherwise not be difficult to obtain permission to relicense the text. (Do beware of promotional, biased language though.) In that case, the copyright holder would need to send confirmation to the Wikimedia Foundation (if by e-mail, to permissions-en at wikimedia dot org) or post a notice on the webpage. Unfortunately again, they may not wish to do that once they know the licensing terms necessary for using the text on Wikipedia. The text should be removed immediately though, unless and until permission is confirmed. While the copyright regime of the world today, and in a case like this specifically, is downright morally wrong, the copyright holder can legally compel the deletion of all revisions that contain this text, i.e. all the revisions from the time it was added to the time it was removed, so copyright infringements on Wikipedia threaten the destruction of all contributions made to the article after the infringement was added.

Please please please, don't EVER paste content from a website to Wikipedia, as you did with [[Neighborhood Public Radio]]. Due to big copyright issues, we can't accept this type of content. All text written by someone has a copyright. This is a serious issue: We are licensing all our content under the [[GFDL]]. That means that anyone can use this content, modify it, and even make money with it. Even if you have some permission from the copyright holder, he might want to think twice before releasing the content of his website under the GFDL. I hope you understand that copyright is a big deal here.

There were 2 main problems with your article: * [[WP:CSD#A7|The article did not explain why the DEF was notable]]. That is a very important criteria all our articles must meet. [[WP:CORP|The Notability Guidelines]] will explain to you our criteria better than I would ;). * [[WP:CSD#G12|The text of the article was taken from a website]], making it a copyright violation. All text in Wikipedia is licensed under the [[GFDL]] license. That means that anyone can use this content, modify it, and even make money with it. This license is very restrictive and we can't accept material that might not be suitable. There are [[Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission|ways to release the content]] of http://www.waldenfont.com/papermodels/productPage.asp?productID=11 under the GFDL, but most of the time you'd want to think twice before doing that :). I'd like to point that of course you are encouraged to write a new version of the article, provided that you use your website as a source of information, not a source of sentences. Meanwhile, I have temporary blanked the article, you can either start again on a temporary page, or provide the permission to our volunteers within 7 days. I'd like to point that of course you are encouraged to write a new version of the article, provided that you follow these two rules. {{subst:user:Lucasbfr/help}} ~~~~

[edit] SPAM

Hi, the article was deleted on the grounds it was an advertisement and a copyright violation of the company's home page. First of all, we take copyright issues very seriously and the article would probably have been deleted under these grounds. Wikipedia's article are licensed under the GFDL, that basically allows anyone to use it for any purpose, which is not possible without explicit authorization from the copyright holder. For the advertisement claim, unfortunately I don't have the ability to access deleted articles so I will stay general. An admin and I had the feeling the article was promoting the company, and was not written in the tone we wait for in an encyclopedia. I suggest you to read [[WP:SPAM#How_not_to_be_a_spammer]], if you want some guidelines about how to write an article about a company. I also suggest you to read [[WP:CORP]], an official policy that states which companies are notable enough to be included and which aren't. I hope that helps you to understand our stance! ~~~~

[edit] How to make great links

== How to make great links == Hi, you seem to have troubles writing intra-wikipedia links :) Just as a reminder, <nowiki>[[article]] allows you to make a link to article, and [[article|title of the article]] links to title of the article. If you want to do a link to an other website, [http://www.google.com Google main page] will appear that way: Google main page. If you want other tips, consider reading Help:Editing or feel free to ask on my talk page. Regards, -- lucasbfr talk 02:45, 17 December 2006 (UTC)</nowiki>

[edit] Vandal Fighters

Hi, thanks for reverting the vandalism on [[]]. When you edit a page, it is better to explain what you did on the Edit summary (we usually use rvv for revert vandalism). Happy Editing! ~~~~

[edit] Apologies

Dear Daniel, I sincerely apologise for reverting your edit and giving you a warning on your user talk page. After doing a bit of searching on google, I can see that your edit was not vandalism and I was mistaken in reverting it. Let me just explain what happened. I'm a [[WP:RCP|recent changes patroller]]. Recent changes patrollers keep an eye on all the recent changes by going through the edits on [[Special:Recentchanges]] and reverting vandalism when they see it and giving the user a warning based on what warnings the users already had and the severity of the vandalism. :When I looked at [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ann_Coulter&diff=prev&oldid=76089822 your edit], I immiediately thought vandalism because of what you added about "Man Coulter" and "the appearence of an Adam's Apple". I then reverted your edit and gave you a [[:Template:Test]] warning as there were no other warnings listed on [[User talk:75.22.200.21|your user talk page]]. :I've removed the warning from your user talk page. Again, really do apologise and hope I haven't "turned you off" from editing future articles. :Also, the majority of vandalism comes from IP addresses that haven't registered an account. I '''strongly recommend''' that you register an account. I think I'm right in saying that a lot of recent changes patrollers don't bother checking the edits of logged-in users because they're less likely to vandalise. There's a lot of [[Wikipedia:Why_create_an_account?|other benefits]] to creating an account as well.

Hi, You may never see this message, but I'll explain to you what happened. There are 2 types of user of Wikipedia: those who have and account and those who haven't. We use the IP of the latter as a way to differentiate and contact them. That's what happened: someone with the same IP address than you repeatedly vandalized Wikipedia a few days ago and was banned for a short period. That might either be someone else on your computer or even just an other customer of your Internet Service Provider. Don't worry, the ban was only active for a short period of time and being banned only prevent you from editing the articles. You still can browse Wikipedia during that time. I hope these explanations were useful! ~~~~

Hi, You may never see this message, but I'll explain to you what happened. There are 2 types of user of Wikipedia: those who have and account and those who haven't. We use the [[IP address]] of the latter as a way to differentiate and contact them. That's what happened: someone with the same IP address than you made an unhelpful change on 17 October 2007. That might either be someone else on your computer or even just an other customer of your Internet Service Provider, probably the latter. Just disregard the message, and consider registering an account if you want to avoid further irrelevant notices :). Thanks, ~~~~

[edit] Using images

==Using images== To incorporate your image in an article you need to use the [[Wikipedia:Extended image syntax|image markup]]. As an example in its simplest form, to reproduce the image at the top of this page you need to insert the following text into an article: <pre><nowiki>[[Image:Example.jpg|thumb|right|Example image caption.]]</nowiki></pre> Where the image is called [[:image:Example.jpg|Example.jpg]]. Using "thumb" forces the creation of a thumbnail and you should replace "Example image caption" with a [[Wikipedia:Captions| suitable caption]]. It gets a bit more complex than this — see [[Wikipedia:Extended image syntax]] — but the vast majority of images should be displayed in the above format. For more information, don't hesitate to take a look at [[WP:Images]] ~~~~

[edit] Image non commercial use

Hi, please do not upload images that only permit non-commercial or educational use. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with this restriction on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want it to be kept on Wikipedia, remove this message and replace this with {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you need further help, please don't hesitate to post on my talk page or to put {{helpme}} followed by your question on this page.
