Lucius Arruntius Camillus Scribonianus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lucius Arruntius Camillus Scribonianus (consul in 32 AC) was apparently the adoptive son of M. Furius Camillus (consul of 8 AD) and brother to Livia Medullina, the second fiancee of Claudius. He became consul in 32 AD with Gnaeus Domitius Ahenobarbus (biological father of Nero).

Despite his near-relationship to Claudius, he nevertheless instigated a revolt against Claudius in 42 AD while governor of Dalmatia.
