Coxon's plays include Nostalgia[1][2][3] and Vesuvius[4][5] at South Coast Repertory, California; Improbabilities[6][7] at Soho Poly; Wishbones[8] and Waiting at the Water's Edge[9] at the Bush Theatre, London; Three Graces at Lakeside Theatre, Colchester and the Haymarket Theatre, Leicester. Adaptations include The Shoemaker's Incredible Wife[10] from Federico García Lorca and The Ice Palace[11] from the novel by Tarjei Vesaas - both for the National Theatre Connections scheme. Her latest play - Happy Now? - premiered at the Cottesloe Theatre, National Theatre, London[12] in 2008.

Screenplays include The Heart of Me[13], Lily and the Secret Planting and Spaghetti Slow. Current film projects include Mrs Gonzalez, Wild Target and The Danish Girl, adapted from David Ebershoff's novel.
