Lucien E. Forbes

Lucien Forbes is a US-based entrepreneur who has developed projects across the globe in a range of industries including communications, shipping, and energy.[1]

Mr. Forbes currently serves as CEO of both Forbes Group, an international corporation that implements development projects in burgeoning nations, and Forbes Energy, the zero-environmental impact, global ethanol energy facility. [2] [3]

Under Mr. Forbes’ leadership, Forbes Group has helped nations such as Russia, Nigeria, Brazil, among others to develop telecommunications, marine fishing and processing, and many other vital industries for economic development.[4]

Forbes Energy is a company devoted to zero-environmental impact energy production. As an international sugar broker, Forbes utilized his knowledge of the sugar industry and the Brazilian ethanol-production model to refine production. The first facility is based in the Dominican Republic and will become operational in 2008. The facility will generate both fuel and electricity from sugar ethanol. [5]

Lucien Forbes lives in Newport, RI with his two sons. He is a coach and president of RI Lacrosse. [6]
