Luciano Zauri (born 20 January 1978 in Pescina) is a professional football player for the Italian team S.S. Lazio of Rome. With Lazio, Zauri won a Coppa Italia in 2004. He is a versatile and powerful full-back. He is right footed but is particularly noted for some excellent performances at left back. He is also adept at playing as a holding midfielder.
Formerly Zauri played with Atalanta and Chievo (on loan).
After Atalanta were relegated in 2003, he joined Lazio with team-mate Ousmane Dabo. [1]
After the departure of Lazio captain Massimo Oddo to AC Milan during the January Transfer window, Luciano has been appointed the captain of Lazio with Rocchi being the vice-captain.
