Lucia Palacios

Lucía Palacios (b. July 27, 1972 in Spain) is a film director, producer and owner of a film and music label.

Lucía Palacios studied Cinema Studies at Complutense University in Madrid. In 1995 she obtained her master's degree. Between 1996 – 2003 she lived and worked in New York. It was in New York where she worked as a TV News Reporter and also completed her first film work. In 1997 she founded with her partner Dietmar Post the production company play loud! productions, which since 2006 also functions as a film and music label. Since 2007 Palacios runs her own Spanish film production company Lucía Palacios P.C.

In 2008 Lucia Palacios and Dietmar Post received the Adolf-Grimme Award.
