Luchegorsk

Luchegorsk (Russian: Лучего́рск, lit. ray of mountains) is an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Pozharsky District of Primorsky Krai, Russia. It was founded in 1966 on a bank of Kontrovod River.
Population: 22,365 (2002 Census); 21,825 (1989 Census).
Luchegorsk is the largest settlement in the Far Eastern Federal District without a town status.
There is a large electric power station which causes ecological problems in Luchegorsk.
