Lucaya International School is an Early Years to Grade 13 school offering an internationally recognized education to Bahamians and foreign residents in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island.

The school was founded in 1998 by island parents wishing to build a school that offered an international curriculum.

The school has an enrollment of 230 students. Approximately 50% are Bahamian Nationals with the remainder coming from over 30 countries.
[edit] Curriculum
The school is authorized to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) to Primary age Students and International Baccalaureate Organization IB Diploma Programme education to Secondary Students. Middle years students are offered an adapted UK national curriculum and the school offers IGCSE exams in Year 11.
IB Programmes are a first-class education and are recognized world wide.
