Lucas Silveira

Lucas Silveira (b. Lilia Silveira) is the Canadian singer/guitarist of the rock band The Cliks. He is a transman.[1][2]
Born in Canada to a Portuguese-Canadian family, he lived from the age of four to the age of ten on Pico Island, part of the Azorean archipelago (an autonomous region of Portugal). He was recently interviewed by the Associated Press, the resulting article has appeared on the MSNBC website and elsewhere. Silveira has also been interviewed by the Boston Globe, as well as many radio stations, quickly becoming one of the most visible transgendered persons in the music industry. He recently appeared in an episode of LA Ink.
