[edit] Football career
Franchini started his career at Internazionale. He made 2 appearances for Inter, one at Serie A, one at Coppa Italia.
He was loaned to Padova of Serie C1, because he was too old for youth team (under-19/20).
In summer 2004, he was on loan to Ascoli.
Due to fail to enter the first team, in January 2005, he was on loan to Vis Pesaro 1898, but changed to Ancona of Serie C2 on 31 August 2005, the last day of the transfer window.
In summer 2005, he was sold to Pro Patria of Serie C1. A year later, Mantova of Serie B bought him from Pro Patria.
