Close-up of New Zealand Long Range Desert Group truck's Patrol designation (W), still visible on side of body, just ahead of the driver's seat. Trucks in this patrol were given Maori names starting with W - this truck was named Waikaha. The vehicle is a WB 30 cwt Chevrolet of W8 Patrol, found in the Libyan desert in the 1980s and now at the Imperial War Museum, London. It is the only original LRDG vehicle in existence.
