[edit] Establishment of The Wikimedia Hong Kong

Lr4087 ：

The planning of the establishment of Wikipedia Hong Kong as a society has entered the final stage.

From 27th April 2006, every Hong Kong Wikimedians is welcomed to participate in the discussion on the vote on the official name of the chapter. Then a one-week nomination period and a three-week voting period will be held. At the same time, you are also welcomed to join in the discussion on the draft constitution of the chapter.

After an official name is decided, the recruitment of member will be started and the first general meeting will be held (Please refer to the schedule). If you're interested to join, please sign your name on this page so that an estimation on the number of member could be done.

[edit] Venue suggestion needed for a meet-up in Yuen Long

Dear: Lr4087 ：

In the past meet-ups, we always had our meeting in the centre of Kowloon, either Kowloon Tong or Mong Kok. However, apart from these places, I am sure that alternative venues in other region would be suitable.


This is the time for your suggestion! According to some discussion on Chinese Wikipedia, from August of 2007, the Hong Kong Wikimedians’ meet-up would be held in all districts of Hong Kong in a circulation basis.


Here is the tentative information of the first meet-up：

Date：11, August, 2007 (Saturday)
Time：After 5:00pm
Proposed region：Yuen Long


The community would request for ideas of where we should hold the meet-up , in order to have a better decision. If you have any good ideas, don’t hesitate to give your opinions, million thanks!

Thanks for your reminder, but I only transferred the same picture from Wikipedia Chinese. I have listed the original page (zh:Image:MTR (logo with text).svg in the image description. The same image appeared on the Chinese version of the article as well. Would that also be "non-fair" use? - LR4087 (talk) 14:52, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

A Chinese Wikipedia article zh:低地台巴士 stated something like "low-floor bus is a step-entrance bus", but this is different from the definition in article "low floor" and the accuracy of that Chinese Wikipedia article is in doubt. Because you’re an expert in your field and a well integrated member in the Wikipedia community, we would like to invite you to participate in our research project on collaboration activities and mechanisms in Wikipedia.

At the Center for Applied Knowledge and Innovation Management at City University we’re currently doing a research project on Wikipedia, and we are inviting experienced Wikipedians in Hong Kong to share their success stories and views on different aspect of the community processes with us. We would thus like to invite you to an interview at your convenience, preferably within the next two weeks if possible. The interview should not take longer than 30-45 minutes and will be conducted at a place and time of your convenience.

It kinda shows the new modified bodywork compared with the traditional Euro III Enviro 500 Toyotaboy95 (talk) 13:40, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
But seems there are not much differences, unless you explain it bit by bit. Try to compare the bodywork of the MK 8xx of LWB and 7xx. LR4087 (talk) 14:16, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
