[edit] Summary

This is the 'switchblade' key to a 2005 Land Rover LR3. The key can be ejected and retracted as needed and cannot be folded back in unless the button is pressed. This prevents accidental stowage of the key when starting the engine. This key is unique in that its battery never needs to be replaced. The internal battery is recharged when the key is in the ignition.
