[edit] Speedy deletion of Loyola College Name Change
Please do not make personal attacks. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
- The article has been deleted. If you wish to rally support for or against an issue, I strongly suggest that there are better websites out there for that purpose. Similar articles, or articles which serve to further a particular point of view, are a violation of policy and may be deleted. Continued posting of such articles may be viewed as disruptive, and could result in your being blocked from editing. By all means, let me know if I can answer any questions you may have. [edit] April 2008
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Loyola College in Maryland appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. UltraExactZZ Claims ~ Evidence 14:36, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- The issue I saw is that the edit discussed options for those who oppose the measure, but none for those who support - which would seem to indicate a bias against the proposed name change. An edit that mentions the name change, cites sources, and indicates that "There is opposition to the proposed change" or something similar would be fine, but an edit that attempts to incite readers to oppose the change would not be. I also do not think that the e-mail address to send letters in opposition to is relevant; instead, cite a source (newspaper article or some such) that does include that address, and you'll be fine. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help. UltraExactZZ Claims ~ Evidence 12:56, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
