[edit] Biography

Frosthold are a 4-piece Anglo-Saxon inspired metal band based in the UK. Tom (Drums) and James (Vocals) are the only remaining members of the original band, started in 1999, along with Chris (ex Guitarist), who left them last year to commit to his newborn and family. After Chris left, they were in the dark for a while, but eventually decided to make a come-back: Phil (then the bassist) turned over to guitar duties as he knew the songs. Their new bassist Joss completed the line-up of Frosthold for the time being.[5]

[edit] Press

Debut CDR from this English band, containing three tracks of old school black metal with melodic elements - think early Burzum, Nargaroth or Borknagar. As so often on demos, the songs are strangled by a tinny and distant production, and the guitar sound is a little clean for my tastes (there are even solos!), but there's a decent band in here somewhere. Download these tracks for free and check it out yourself. - Reviewed by Simon Collins in Zero Tolerance #007 (Sept/Oct 2005)
