Lowes Menswear is an Australian menswear chain established in 1898. They primarily sell workwear and suits, as well as clothes for larger men and schoolwear.
Lowes has more recently included in their vast range Ladieswear, Surfwear and Boyswear. The Lowes Menswear chain now contains 148 stores spanning Australia. The three main stores in New South Wales which carry all ranges include Westfield Miranda, Bankstown and Wynyard (located in Sydney's CBD).
Lowes Head Office and warehouse is located in Arncliffe.
Lowes is a privately owned family company. They are also well known for their use of past & present rugby league personalities in their commercials including Darryl Brohman, Tony Lockett (who is an AFL personality), Gary Freeman, Michael O'Connor, Gorden Tallis, Bill Harrigan, Mark McGaw, Brett Kimmorley, Terry Hill, Paul Sironen, Steve "Blocker" Roach, Paul "Fatty" Vautin & Ray Hadley. The Dragons'Jason Ryles and the Sea eagles Anthony Watmough are the latest rugby league personalities to take part in Lowes commercials.
