Perhaps the main attraction to the village is the Mount Pleasant Golf Club with 9 holes, 18 tees and three difficulty levels on each.[1] The course also has a bar and restaurant, named the "19th hole", and a pro shop where they sell clothing and other golfing equipment.

You can pay to become a member at the club, they offer several types depending on your needs. Membership offers benefits such as: up to 15 days advanced booking (depends on type of membership), reduced green fees and free use of practise areas.

The golf club maintains a website at http://www.mountpleasantgolfclub.co.uk which offers more information about the club and a sometimes information about events currently happening which are associated with the village.

[edit] Stondon Transport Museum

The village also hosts the largest private transport museum in the UK. The collection has over 400 exhibits, including cars, motorcycles, tanks, aircraft, and a full-size replica of Captain Cook's ship, the HM Bark Endeavour.
