Lowell Jack is a longtime resident and historian of Manhattan, KS. His notable career includes:
- KMAN-AM 1350, General Manager (retired 1989)
- Chamber of Commerce, President
- Mayor, City of Manhattan
- City Commissioner, City of Manhattan
Jack also published six historical calendars of Manhattan, and two historical books about Manhattan and its people. He worked to provide a temporary studio for KSDB after the fire at Nichols Gym.
He is a great man that works non-stop. On top of that, he fixes his scedule to spend time with his daughter, Diane Concelmo, and her husband Bob Concelmo, with their 2 boys, Matthew and Daniel, who all live happily in gainesville florida. He also spends time with his son Steve and his wife, Rondi with their children Andrew and Rachel who live in Lawrence Kansas.
