Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. Please refrain from doing this in the future. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you! –Gunslinger47 23:06, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Mew, purr, purr!!! Oreo lover 21:51, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
Idk where I was gonna put this..But Sarah this is proof that purple and violet are DIFFERENT!!! " purples are extraspectral color. In fact, purple was not present on Newton's color wheel (which went directly from violet to red), though it is present on modern ones. There is no such thing as the "wavelength of purple light"; it only exists as a combination. Also, violet light varies solely by wavelength, while purple varies by the proportion of red to blue light." So ooooooooo I win!!! VampiricCat 02:45, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hi
I've moved this conversation here.
[edit] Note
Alot of your comments at User talk:Pizza1512/Lover of the sand are just general chatting it seems. Use email or an internet messenger for that type of content. I don't know a certain Wikipedia policy on this, but I'm pretty sure that isn't what the talk pages are for. Discuss articles and their edits on Wikipedia talk pages, don't use Wikipedia as a chat site/message board. RobJ1981 05:47, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Warriorssssssssss
Sarah if you didn't already read the Warrior's Wiki..They are making a special edition book about Bluestar's life...And some other book..And MORE MANGA..VampiricCat 14:51, 13 October 2007 (UTC) →# Brambleclaw will be in the final scene of book 24.
- Book 24 will also be the last Warriors book.
- Firestar WILL die in book 24, but his successor will not be the obvious choice. Vicky also wants to leave Brambleclaws allegiances (good or evil) ambiguous..I found that on a site..I didn't know they would have that many books..They should put that on the Warriors Wiki page..Or I might when I get some free time.VampiricCat 01:57, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Using talk pages
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia.
While we appreciate that you enjoy using Wikipedia, please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a social network. Wikipedia is not a place to socialize or do things that are not directly related to improving the encyclopedia. Off-topic material may be deleted at any time. This message is not meant to discourage you from editing Wikipedia but rather to remind you that the ultimate goal of this website is to build an encyclopedia. Thank you. --Kateshortforbob 13:04, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Hey! Thanks for your message on my talk page. No need to apologise - the purpose of talk pages can be a bit confusing! Talk pages are usually for dropping messages to other editors, just as you did on my page. Most messages are about articles - asking or answering questions about articles you've worked on, notifying others about articles or changes they might be interested in, or discussing other Wikipedia stuff. Other editors might also give you awards on your talk page. You can also have The Signpost, Wikipedia's newspaper, delivered to your talk page, by adding yourself to this list. The reason we discourage social networking at WP is because there are lots of other places you can do that (like MySpace, Facebook etc.), but there is only one Wikipedia! (Well, there are lots in other languages as well). I will leave some links on Ichliebezuko and VampiricCat's pages which will hopefully help them (I wasn't sure which friend you were talking about).
If you (or your friends) need any help using WP, you could try the Help Desk, or put {{helpme}} along with your question, on your talk page. The adopt-a-user program is also available to help inexperienced editors, or you could check out the List of things you can do - I started out fixing spelling mistakes. I'd be happy to try to help if you need anything - just drop a message on my talk page. Thanks and have fun editing Wikipedia! --Kateshortforbob 23:14, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Some concern about your editing habits...
I should probably tell you the fact that there are several editors who are concerned about your future editing on Wikipedia. You're treating the project like it's a social website, which it isn't. Wikipedia is, and always will be, about writing an encyclopedia. Yes, there are exceptions to this, such as userboxes and personal essays.
Quite frankly, you and your friends need to focus on editing the encyclopedia. Leniency in regards to userspace comes with valued contributions to the project, of which you've made very, very few (for example, I've got about 10 or so subpages, but I've also got over 900+ solid mainspace contributions [1])
I wish to see you stick around as an editor and spend your copious free moments in improving the encyclopedia, but continuing to treat Wikipedia like a new MySpace or Facebook is a sure ticket to a short drop and a sudden stop, so to speak. Consider this a friendly but stern head's up. The same happened to me, you know. [2]

[edit] Re:Userboxes
I use tables to put my userboxes (see User:Alex Roggio/Userboxes) because of the exact reason you had problems. The userbox template doesn't work well, and wikitables on Wikipedia aren't meant to be next to one another. I guess this will be resolved soon. Cheers, Lex T/C Guest Book 00:03, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Adopting a page
This doesn't exist, but it sounds like a good idea. You could propose it, but you must make sure everyone understands that you aren't trying to go around WP:OWN. Lex T/C Guest Book 00:43, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 05:16, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
